Hélder Mendes releases second album

Luanda, Luanda – The Angolan musician Hélder Mendes presented to the public of Luanda at Independence Square, his latest CD entitled “Vumbi” (Deus).In an interview to Angop, the singer said that it is an album with Afropop genre, interpreted in various vernacular languages, such as Kimbundo, umbundo, kwanyama, cokwe and fiote.The musician informed that the album was recorded and edited in Spain and was produced by musicians from France and Sweden. The artist stressed that about one thousand copies are available for the public.According to the artist, with this album he aims to value national culture, through showing the importance of national languages.
