Governor highlights media expansion

Angola, Ndalatando - The governor of the northern Kwanza Norte province, Henrique André Junior, said to be pleased with the expansion and performance of the local media during the year 2011. According to the governor, who was speaking during traditional yearend greeting ceremony on Friday, the local media sector benefited from the significant achievements. As an example, he mentioned the construction and equipping of a new building for the production centre of Public Television of Angola (TPA). The official also spoke of investment in construction of the new centre as well as the conclusion phase of construction works of a building to house the Daily Newspaper (Edições Novembro) in the provincial capital city.
