Government to open over 100 business counters
Luanda, Luanda - Angolan minister of Economy, Abrãao Gourgel, Monday in Luanda announced the Angolan Government's intention to open this year 161 small and 22 large size business counters countrywide.The minister was speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Counter of the Entrepreneur (BUE) in Bela municipality, Luanda.Abrãao Gourgel explained that with this programme, the Government intends to fight poverty and lower unemployment affecting the country.The official pledged that the Government will grant credit to entrepreneurs who get their businesses registered.According to him, this will enable the creation of more jobs and thus improve people’s living standards.In her turn, the minister of Justice, Guilhermina Prata, who also attended the event, said the initiative represents the implementation of the Government programme focused on support for entrepreneurs, specially young ones.
