Georges Chicoty's visit aimed to review cooperation
Paris, Paris – The Angolan Foreign Affairs Minister, Georges Chicoty, said on Tuesday in Paris that his visit in in France aims to review the bilateral relations between both countries. Speaking to Angop and National Radio of Angola (RNA), the official said that there is a big volume of cooperation in various sectors between Angola and France. He said that is visiting France at the invitation of his French counterpart Alain Juppé. According to him, the political relations have been good lately and it will permit great advances. On the other hand, the official regretted the murder of French citizens and other nationals. Minister Georges Chicoti started his official visit in France on Tuesday and it will end on Saturday. The minister’s delegation comprises directors for Europe, Africa and Legal departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Teodolinda Coelho, Joaquim de Espirito Santo and Mário Constantino, respectively. The delegation is also integrated by the Angolan embassy to France, Miguel Costa, permanent representative of Angola to UNESCO, Sita José and general consul in Paris, Manuel António, among other diplomats.
