Geology and Mining state secretary works in Benguela
Angola, Benguela - The state secretary for Geology and Mining, Makenda Ambroise, is since Wednesday paying a four-day visit to Benguela Province, meant to hear about the functioning of the sector in this region, ANGOP has learnt. Upon his arrival, he left for Canjala commune, Lobito Municipality, where he visited the stone quarry with the Coreangola firm, dealing in quartz exploration, a marble factory, as well as other stone quarries located in the same municipality. On Thursday, the official is meeting with the staff of the provincial government and is expect to go back to Lobito where he will visit cements factories and the Quileva hill. He is also expected to visit bricks and cement factories as well as Angolaca and Momnte Adriano firms, dealing in limestone production. The state secretary will also tour the Mina locality to check some stone quarries working on ornamental limestone.
