General Inspectorate of Labour runs HIV/AIDS
Bié, Kuito - The Department of the General Inspectorate of Labour (IGT) is conducting workshops to raise HIV/AIDS awareness and mobilization and, mainly combating the stigma suffered by those with the disease in the workplace. The Inspector-General of Labour Department of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security Ministry (MAPESS) in Bie, Isaac Justino, stressed that the idea is to also pass the message on how to prevent HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases, adding that intention is to value the people affected and who work in various institutions. The event includes the participation of the Ministry of Health, through the Program to Combat AIDS in the region by providing technical and means of prevention (condoms, illustrative leaflets).
