FAG chairman praises local government

Huambo, Huambo – The chairman of Angola Gymnastics Federation (FAG), Auxilio Jacob, praised Monday in this city the engagement of Huambo Province government in organising with success the third edition of the national gymnastics championships.In an interview to ANGOP, at the end of the junior and senior competitions in both sexes, which took place on 20-21 August, Auxilio Jacob said that the engagement allowed the event to achieve objectives set by the federation.According to the sports officials, Huambo Province showed great hospitality and organisation of events at that level.About 60 athletes from the provinces of Bié, Benguela, Huambo, Huíla, Kuando Kubango, Luanda and Lunda Sul participated in the third edition of the national junior and senior competition in both sexes, disputed at Osvaldo de Jesus Serra Van-Dúnem pavilion, Huambo Province.
