FAA Staff invests in training of military leaders
Angola, Luanda – The General Staff of the Angola Armed Forces (FAA) will invest in the training of military leaders in 2012, through eight leadership programmes, Angop learned. The information was released Monday in Luanda by the chief of FAA Staff, gen. Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda, during a year-end compliments ceremony. According to the general, the programmes that have received the green light from the FAA commander-in-chief, José Eduardo dos Santos, have been designed for commands of Staff of divisions and organs of the Army and concerned units of the Air Force and Navy. He said there is need for strengthened leadership chains, in view of their specific role. According to the officer, the Angola Armed Forces are faced with growing challenges as the expectations are greater now than they were in the past, hence the need for a team-work.
