Defence Minister urges navy staff to brush up military art

Luanda, Luanda – The Minister of National Defence, Cândido Pereira Van-Dúnem, urged the staff of Angolan Navy to continue improving naval military art, in a time the readiness and discipline are key factors in the full compliance with their duties.             This can be read on a message addressed to the Navy Headquarters as part of the 36th founding anniversary of this branch of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), being marked on Tuesday July 10. The message also reads that these assumptions are embodied in the preservation of the conquests of the Angolan people. According to the document, Candido Pereira Van-Dunem says that the commemoration of this anniversary happens in a time that in light of the rebuilding process underway the Angolan Armed Forces, where the Angolan Navy has been seeking the desired success of being conformed to the rapid development of the country.  The main event of the celebrations is taking place at the Naval Base in Soyo, northern Zaire province.
