Deceased Air Force crew honoured

Luanda, Luanda – The chief of staff of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), general Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda, on Friday here paid homage to five crew members of the National Air Force (FAN)'s helicopter that crushed on Wednesday near the city of Saurimo city, capital of north-eastern Lunda Sul province. After the ceremony, general Nunda presented condolences to the widows and relatives of the deceased militaries. In an interview to ANGOP, the chief of staff expressed sorrow at the tragedy, having reiterating that FAN experts continue working at the crush site to find the causes of the accident, which was flying the Luena/Saurimo route.
