CNAC satisfied with activities
Luanda, Luanda – The executive secretary of the National Child Council (CNAC), Ana Afonso, Thursday in Luanda considered positive the work done by the institution over the five years of its existence. Ana Afonso was speaking at the seminar on Angolan Child Indicators System (SICA) over the last five years. She on the occasion said CNAC can be considered a child that was born small and fragile now showing signs of development, strength and determination to continue its life course. The executive secretary informed that the CNAC can not operate and accomplish with efficacy its term without instructions associated with the National Institute of Statistics (INE), that is that of supplying and providing guidance for an efficacious actions of gathering of data and information. Since their inception, the 11 commitments are a kind of a bible that provides guidance on the best way of effectively accomplish and turn a reality the defence of children in Angola. To her, today these actions are a reality and an evidence of the efforts in favour of children’s defence and protection of their rights.
