BUE is wealth generating - Minister
Benguela, Benguela – The Angolan minister of Economy, Abraão Gourgel, said Friday in central Benguela province that with the implementation of the Entrepreneur’s Counter (BUE), the Government is seeking to grant credits to people so they can generate wealth and improve their living. Abraão Gourgel was speaking to journalists after inaugurating the country’s 8th Entrepreneur’s Counter and Benguela province’s first. The minister on the occasion said that handouts do not create wealth, but credits granted to people can ensure the development of their regions. He said that those who get a credit and fail to engage in fruitful activity risks to revert to the previous situation of moneyless and indebted. The official urged beneficiaries of the credit to take advantage of them and apply the money that is placed at their disposal, as this is why the BUE has been created. The BUE are intended to create more jobs and wealth both for people and the country. Through the BUE, candidates can get a credit of as much as Akz 679,000 (about Usd 6,500)
