Bavarian delegation expected Sunday in Luanda

Angola, Luanda - The State secretary for Economy, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology of the German federal state of Bavaria, Katja Hessel, starts next Sunday a four-day working visit to Angola.  According to a press release from the Angolan embassy in Germany, the State secretary will be accompanied by business delegation from Bavaria.  The federal state of Bavaria is the most important economic state of the Federated State of Germany and one of Europe's strongest regions economically. It hosts BMW and Siemens companies. This is the second trip of a Bavarian delegation to Angola. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Munich, Bavaria holds since 2010 a partnership project with the Association of Industries of Angola (AIA), which, among others, aims to increase the supply of vocational training in Angola. The delegation wants to gather information about the economic potential of Angola and establishing contacts.  Secretary of State will meet, among others, with the State minister for Economic Coordination, Manuel Vicente, and other representatives of the Angolan Government. During the visit there will be held in cooperation with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the German Delegate of German Economy in Angola, Ricardo Gerigk, a meeting between Angolan and German business representatives.  On Monday, July 2 at 05pm, the State secretary will give a press conference with the Angolan media organs at a hotel in Luanda.
