AU chairman considers Angola as African powerhouse

Angola, Addis Ababa - The chairman of the African Union Commission, Jean Ping, acknowledged on Friday in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia the diplomatic, economic and military potentials in the continent.Jean Ping said so during the accreditation ceremony of the Angolan representative to AU, ambassador Arcanjo Maria do Nascimento.The official expressed the confidence of AU regarding the potential and experience of Angola in matters related to conflicts resolution.On his turn, Arcanjo Maria do Nascimento said that he is very proud of representingAngola to African Union, mainly due to the matters of peace keeping and securityin the continent.
