Angolan players find Zambia suitable for friendly match

Football , Luanda - Manuel, with Sport Aviação ASA, and Edson, (Recreativo da Caála), think that the national football team coach has been demanding regarding what he expects from the players and agree that Zambia is tough opponent and suitable for a friendly match ahead of the game with Uganda for the first round of Group J qualifying for the World Cup of 2014 in Brazil.Speaking at the end of a training session Saturday in Luanda, Manuel said coach Romeu Filemon is strict regarding tactic aspects.In his turn, Recreativo da Caala’s Edson, told journalists that playing with Zambia, the African champion, increases the responsibility on the part of the national team’s athletes, mostly young."We have a national team for the present and for the future,” he stressed.The national team will be playing a training match with Zambia on Wednesday at Luanda’s “11 de Novembro” Stadium, ahead of a game on May 23 with a team of foreigners playing in Angola’s first division championship. The team will then travel to Portugal for another two friendly games with Macedonia and Cape Verde, all part of the programme of preparation for the qualifiers for the World Cup.
