Angolan delegation attends meeting on sleeping sickness in Mali
Luanda, Luanda – An Angolan delegation comprising technicians from the Ministries of Health and Agriculture and Rural Development is since Friday in Bamako, Mali, to participate in the 31st meeting of the International Scientific Council for Research and Combating Trypanosomiasis, taking place from 12 to 16 September. The group is headed by the director general of Institute of Combat and Control of Trypanosomiasis, Josenando Teófilo, an executive member of the Scientific Council. The event will be attended by 300 delegates from 36 African countries affected by the disease among scientists and universities engaged in research of seeping disease.
