Angola is a privileged country to invest in Cuba - Ambassador

Luanda, Luanda – Angola is a privileged country to invest in Cuba in all sectors, both public and private, said Tuesday in Luanda the Cuban ambassador to Angola, Pedro Ross Leal.The diplomat was speaking at a ceremony of celebration of the 53rd anniversary of the Cuban Revolution on January 1.According to Pedro Ross Leal, Angolan investments are being made in important sectors of Cuba’s economy, mentioning the accord signed between the country’s oil company, Sonangol, and its Cuban counterpart, Cupet, for exploration of oil in two blocks of the Mexico Gulf economic zone.The ambassador stressed that Cuba feels the solidarity and generous and strong support of Angola in the international arena in face of major challenges and circumstances, especially regarding the fight to end the blockade that the Latin American country is subject to for over 50 years.
