Angola at Portuguese-speaking Community meeting

Angola, Cidade da Praia - Angola is participating since Friday at the meeting of national directors of culture of the Portuguese-speaking Community  (CPLP) and East Timor, that aims at stimulating cultural initiatives and rehabilitation of the heritage, Angop learnt. The meeting is taking place under the responsibility of the European Union (UE), that has made available 3.0 million Euros for the support of this private initiative, through the promotion of shows, trainings and courses in vernacular languages. During the two-day meeting, participants will present, through their countries, proposals for the safeguard of their cultural heritage and plans of cultural development.
