Angola lose to DR Congo in friendly match
Luanda, Luanda – The Angolan national senior males football team lost on Saturday to DR Congo by 2-1 in Quintalão do Dundo stadium in the eastern Lunda Norte province, in the friendly match under the celebrations of the 69th anniversary of the Angolan President, José Eduardo dos Santos, being marked on Sunday 28 August. The friendly game is also part of the preparation of the Angolan squad ahead of the match against Uganda qualifying for the African Cup of Nations (CAN2012) set for 4 September in Luanda. In the first half, both teams were held in one-one draw. The Angolan goal was scored by João Martins at 13 minutes, while Bankogolia and Niemba scored for DR Congo at 41 and 63 minutes, respectively.
