Angola hosts Ocplp general assembly in October

Luanda,  Luanda - Angola will host on 3 and 4 October of the current year the ordinary general assembly of Cooperative Organisations of the Portuguese-speaking Countries (OCPLP), announced Thursday in Luanda the vice-chairperson of UNACA-Confederation of Peasants Associations and Agro-livestock Cooperatives of Angola, Albano da Silva Lussati.  Speaking to Angop, the head of the team said that the executive-board of Unaca-Confederation will arrange, with the representatives of organisations of Brazilian Cooperative (OCB) and Confecoop (Portugal), details on the event, in teleconference. According to Albano Lussati, the programme of general assembly comprises, approval of the plan outlined at assembly of Lisbon in 2010 and the construction project of a cooperative movement school of OCPLP in Angola.   The agenda also includes, apart from discussing topics at the meeting, in plenary and in working groups, talk among foreign delegates and Angolan officials, as well as visits to some provinces of Angola.   The OCPLP general assembly elected Unaca-Confederation of Angola as member of the Institution’s board on 7 October 2010, during the 9th cooperative meeting held in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
