Angola on good track toward information technologies development

Ceremony, Luanda - Angola is making a good progress toward the implementation and development of information technologies, said Thursday in Luanda the first vice Speaker of Parliament, João Lourenço.The MP was speaking at opening ceremony of the seminar on "Information Technologies", promoted by the VI Commission of National Assembly, in charge of Education, Science and Technology, Culture, Youth, Sports, Religious Affairs and Media.The official said that in the field of information technologies the country still faces hallenges, calling for the need of a nationwide combined effort to expand its use. João Lourenço guaranteed that the National Assembly is strongly committed to the information technologies, through modernisation of all technological equipment.  The meeting serves to promote the use of information technologies by Members of Parliament.The first panel was presented by the Angolan minister of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, José de Carvalho da Rocha.
