AKZ 20.0 million invested in rehabilitation of Catete post office

Angola, Icolo e Bengo – Some AKZ 20 million was invested in the rehabilitation of the post office and telecommunication station in Catete ward in Luanda by the Angolan government, aiming to better serve the public. Rehabilitated from July to December 2011, the institution comprises a service counter for public, rooms for meeting, training and experts, a cafeteria for staff, a residence for head of the post office and a kitchen, among others. The rehabilitation works were under the responsibility of the Chinese firm of “Ting King”, inspected by the Ministry of elecommunications and Information and Communication Technologies. On the occasion, the municipal administrator of Icolo e Bengo António Calado considered an added value the re-inauguration of this infrastructure by the Minister of Telecommunications and Information and Communication Technologies.
