AIA chairman defends more space for business fairs
Luanda, Luanda – The current place in which the Luanda International Fair takes place need to be extended to respond to the growing number of exhibitors participating in the event every year, said Sunday to ANGOP the chairman of the Angolan Association of Industrialists (AIA), José Severino. According to the AIA official, the space in FILDA no longer responds to the demand, since every year the country receives more and more investors that come to show their products and find partnerships. He stressed the role this fair plays in attracting new investments, thus helping to improve people’s welfare. “after many years in this venue, it is about time we got a bigger space to hold the fairs and reach the second place in the continent”, he said. José Severino also informed that the AIA is working with the ruling MPLA party so that in future there may be more policies of support to micro-credit, small and medium enterprises.
