Agostinho Neto considered high symbol of Angolan nationalism

Huambo, Huambo – The Angolan politician and ambassador, Luís Neto Kiambata, Thursday in central Huambo province, considered the first and late Angolan president, António Agostinho Neto, “a high symbol of nationalism” who imparted value to the liberation struggle against colonial oppression. The ambassador was speaking during a lecture that went under the motto “The political cultural and humanist dimension of Agostinho Neto” that brought together over 3,500 people, among members of the local Government, teachers, university students and guests. During his presentation, the source stressed that the national hero devoted his entire life to the liberation cause, fighting for the retrieval of the national identity.
