Adult literacy international day marked

Kalima, Kalima  - Talks, visits and meetings with social partners  are taking place since Thursday in all the municipalities of the central Huambo Province, under the week of  International Literacy Day, to be marked on September 08, ANGOP has learnt. Under debate are themes such as the role of literacy in the consolidation of peace and fight  against hunger and poverty and assessment of literacy classes. The official ceremony in Huambo took place at Kalima commune and was chaired by the provincial director of education, science and technology, Manuel Sampaio do Amaral.
