Adapted sports athletes get sponsorship from oil company
Angola, Luanda – Five athletes of the disabled people’s national team will benefit from USD 1000 per month next year, in the ambit of an agreement of co-operation signed last Wednesday, in Luanda, between the Angolan Paralympic Committee (CPA) and the oil company British Petroleum (BP). The beneficiary athletes are José Sayovo, Octávio dos Santos, Joaquim Manuel, Esperança Gicaso and Maria da Silva.The agreement has been signed in the framework of the participation of Angola in the 2012 Paralympic Games of London, England. In view of this agreement, the mentioned athletes need to wear and promote in the media the image of the BP, inside and outside the country. The agreement was signed by the CPA chairman, Leonel da Rocha Pinto, the vice-chairman for communication and marketing of the BP, Paulo Pizarro, and the athelets.
