About 38 groups to attend 2012 Carnival in Cabinda

Cabinda, Cabinda – At least 38 groups will attend the central parade of the 2012 edition of the Carnival in northern province of Cabinda, the provincial director of Culture, Euclides da Lomba, announced Monday here. The groups include 14 for adults and 24 for children mostly in the local cultural style kintueni. Euclides da Lomba said his department is currently arranging for the event to be held at the site in front of the provincial palace.  Last year’s edition was won by Mayeye de Lombolombo group in the adult category,  while Scute do Tafe won in the child, both based in Cabinda city.
