15 delegates to attend OCPLP meeting

Luanda,  Luanda – At least 15 delegates to the annual general meeting of the Organization of Cooperatives of the Portuguese-speaking Countries (OCPLP) taking place from 3 to 4 October in Luanda (Angola) have confirmed participation, said the deputy chairperson of Unaca-Confederetion, Albano Silva Lussati. Speaking to the press the official said that confirmed participation Portugal and Guinea Bissau with 5 delegates each, Brazil and Sao Tome with two representatives while Mozambique will send one delegate. Albano Lussati said that Cape Verde and East Timor also members of OCPLP did not decide about their participation in the event. The two-day programme meeting includes the approval of the recommendations of the 9th meeting of the organization held in 2010 in Porto Alegre (Brazil), approve the proposals on the statutes and regulations OCPLP as well as the planned construction of an international cooperative school movement in Angola. The general meeting of OCPLP elected Unaca-Confederation of Angola to the duties of the member of senior management of the institution on 7 October 2010, during the ninth meeting cooperative, held in Porto Alegre (Brazil).  The OCPLP is assumed as an international organization for the development and aims the exchange and sharing of economic and social projects and the increase of partnership to promote cooperative.
