1º de Agosto beat Interclube and lead SISTEC tournament

Luanda, Luanda – 1º de Agosto defeated on Wednesday Interclube by 49-41 in Luanda’s Maculusso pavilion, in the second round of SISTEC senior females basketball tournament. In the first half, 1º de Agosto were already winning the game by 20-25. 1º de Agosto’s player Felizarda Jorge was the best scorer of the match with 17 points. For the same round Maculusso beat Desportivo Juventude de Viana by 64-50. Check Thursday’s fixtures: Maculusso – Interclube (5 p.m)Juventude de Viana – 1º de Agosto (7 p.m) The final of the tournament, being held since Tuesday, in the ambit of the celebrations of the 20th founding anniversary of SISTEC, will be disputed on 2 July.
