ISCPC should contribute to building safe country- analyst

Luanda, Luanda - The Higher Institute of Police and Criminal Sciences (ISCPC) should contribute to the training of staff responsible for the collective security and building of a safe and prosperous country, said Thursday in Luanda the analyst and university lecturer, Mário Pinto de Andrade. The lecturer was delivering a speech at the opening of the mentioned institution, a ceremony chaired by the Vice President of the Republic, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos. 

Finance sector reaps over AKZ 34.5 billion in Mbanza Kongo

Angola, M'banza Kongo – The finance department of the northern Zaire province collected AKZ 34.5 billion for the state coffer in 2011.  This was said to Angop on Friday in M'banza Kongo district by the acting provincial delegate of finance, Eduardo Diakondua. According to him, it was recorded an increase of revenues estimated at four billion of kwanzas if compared to 2010.

Certification empowers companies

Luanda, Luanda - The certification of companies is considered the only way to professionalize and guarantee their empowerment in the national market. This was said to Angop by the chairwoman of the executive commission of the state-run Oil Company (Sonangol) distribution branch, Filomena Rosa, during the closing ceremony of the first conference on certification of companies in Angola. 

Building materials must be certified

Luanda,  Luanda - Building materials must be compulsory certified, due to the risks they may cause to the human life.  This was said to Angop on Thursday by the national director of the Angolan Institute of Standardisation and Quality (IANORQ), Teodora Silva.  

Bié governor hails churches' role in registration process

Angola,           Kuito - The governor of the central Bié province, Alvaro Manuel Boavida Neto, on Friday highlighted the positive role played by the churches based in this region in awareness and mobilization campaigns of faithful to adhere the electoral registration posts.The official said so to Angop during a meeting with religious entities.The governor expressed his satisfaction at the role being played by the churches.

Government implements strategies of better protection of civilians

Luanda, Luanda  – The Angolan government is concerned about the problem of managing disasters and has been implementing cross strategies for better protection of civilians. This was said to Angop on Thursday in Luanda by the Interior Vice-minister for Civil Protection, Eugénio Laborinho. The official said so during the closing ceremony of the technical workshop on Risk Management  and Contingency planning.
