Fight against hunger programme under analysis

Angola,              Huambo - The progress of the implementation of the municipal integrated programmes of rural development and fight against hunger starts being assessed on Friday, in Huambo City, ANGOP has learnt.The two-day meeting will be witnessed by the Territory Administration minister, Bornito da Sousa, that will address a theme on the guidelines on the administrative and financial decentralisation processes of the municipalities.

Solidarity to elderly people week happens next month

Angola,             Luanda - A national week of solidarity to elderly people will be held on October 02-15, under the commemorations of the International Day of Older Persons, October 01, ANGOP has learnt.A press note says that the initiative aims at getting donations and funds for the implementation of the programme dubbed “Make an elderly person happy”.

Aviculture project guarantees over 1.000 jobs

Angola,               Ndalatando – At least 464 direct jobs and over 1.000 indirect ones will be created by the integrated family aviculture project, in an initiative of the Angolan government, ANGOP has learnt.The project will be implemented in the municipalities of Lucala (Kwanza-Norte) and Cacuso (Malanje), said its director, Filipe Vicesse, during a visit paid by the secretary of the President of the Republic for Economic Affairs, Armando Manuel.
